Chris and Mailyn reached out after getting engaged to plan a couple's session at the beach and it was so fun! They're the perfect example of a couple who says "we're so awkward in front of the camera" and then LOOK AT THEM. Their photos turned out so beautiful! The biggest thing to remember before coming in to your engagement session is that the photos are more about how they feel and less about how they look. Does that make sense? Like, your wild hair adds to the feeling of the carefree energy of the shoot and that's way more important than every hair being perfectly in place. If you're looking for a photographer who is all about the movement and emotion in photos, I'm your gal but if you're looking for a photographer who's all about hair and makeup, we're probably not the best fit. Chris and Mailyn are the perfect example of coming into a shoot and trusting the process without worrying too much about getting that 'picture perfect' shot and this session is such a beautiful example of that.
