Hemali and I have been friends since we lived in San Diego in middle school and she always LOVED animals. Hemali ended up going to UCSC which is where she studied Marine Biology and where she met Brad five years ago ( they met at a 'lizard lab' - HOW CUTE). They live in Monterey now and we got to put together this sweet styled shoot in Carmel-by-the-Sea with some of the most incredible vendors. We love that Santa Cruz has brought us together with so many rad couples and vendors in the Bay Area.
