Kara and Colby met in high school and definitely did not have a romantic connection right away. Colby was a family friend who teepeed Kara's home and it wasn't until they got older that they woke up to the reality of their love for one another. Since then, they've lived in New York City together and built a strong, sweet, and light hearted connection. Their wedding day was full of emotions from tears at their first look to everyone crying during the wedding ceremony as Kara and Colby read letters that they wrote to their parents. The two of them know how to embrace their tears and their laughs which made for the absolute best wedding day. The River House in Ben Lomond tucked in the Santa Cruz Mountains is a beautiful venue complete with a redwood grove, bridal suite, and barn to party in. The whole day was picturesque and a total dream.
