Point Lobos looks like a huge chunk of continent has cracked off and fallen straight into the ocean, leaving ragged cliff edges that the waves and tides won't stop fighting over. So, when we showed up early for our usual pre-shoot scouting hike, we had the roughest time choosing which of all the CRAZY views to choose for Andrew and Lauren's photos. Lucky for us, they were the ones who'd told us about this place so when they showed up, they knew right where to go. 
"We had a couple of shots of tequila just now," Andrew told us as we started our hike to the beach they like. "Just something to loosen up."
Whether or not it was the alcohol doesn't matter too much, because Andrew and Lauren were SO easy to work with. It's always great when a couple is willing to scale a craggly rock barefoot so you can see if a shot works. These shots worked for sure.
Andrew and Lauren recently got engaged and plan on getting married in Mexico so, cue the Victoria Brand Cerveza. As they cracked open a couple of cold ones, the sky cracked open the warmest sunset we've ever encountered. 
We always feel so lucky to encounter these raw places and help capture raw moments like we did with Andrew and Lauren as the light faded at Point Lobos.
