Marcus and Claire are San Francisco-based creatives who have been together for over a decade. Claire is a professional dancer who also loves to cook and take photos. Marcus is a graphic designer, photographer and loves Star Wars. Together they love watching movies and keeping their inner child alive by going to Disneyland often and are annual pass holders.
They reached out for photo and video for their wedding day next year and since they both love film + digital photography, we added some film into their engagement session in San Francisco. Their engagement shoot was all about embracing their chill vibes and the sweet, stable love they share.
We met at Golden Gate Park where we explored around in the tall grass and eucalyptus trees. Golden Gate Park provided the perfect backdrop, with its lush greenery, tranquil ponds, and hidden nooks. As Marcus and Claire strolled hand in hand, their laughter echoed through the park, and their love radiated effortlessly.
Then we went over to Balboa Theater where they've been going to films for years. It was so fun including places that mean a lot to them and their relationship. The photographs captured those candid moments that perfectly encapsulated their relaxed and authentic connection.
We ended the shoot at Sutro Baths where we caught the sunset and got to relax looking out over the ocean. The salty breeze, crashing waves, and the raw beauty of the Baths was perfect against the rugged cliffs and historic ruins, resulting in images that captured their chilled-out, carefree spirits.
So stoked to capture their wedding next year.
